Biscuit Bitch- A

$

Hey Guys! If you have been following my Instagram page at all you know I love Biscuits and if you follow my SnapChat you know I curse like a sailor (can’t do those things on IG my family follows me, you know). Put those two things together and boom we make it to our #SundayBrunchday restaurant, Biscuit Bitch at Caffe Lieto.

Biscuit Bitch at Caffe Lieto is the original of three locations in Seattle all of which bust out both sweet and savory biscuits all while giving the patron an opportunity to let loose and drop as many “Bitches” as they humanly can whilst making one food order. Owner Kimmie Spice makes something so mundane as ordering food into an experience. The Cafe is loud, filled with music, laughter and all around seems like everyone is genuinely having a great time bringing the “Trailer Park to Table”. This Bitch is known for their Biscuits and Gravy which include your choice between classic Country Sausage or Vegetarian Mushroom Gravy, all the imaginable fixin’s such as Hot Links, Bacon and Grits in addition to some kick-ass (of course local) espresso.

I’m not going to lie I have been here multiple times but have just chosen to write about it now. The thing that made me go ohhhhhh yessss was the Nutty Bitch but I’ll get to what that is in a second. The menu is small but offers so many possible combinations you would never go hungry. The prices are reasonable, About $7-12 per item not including the sides which range from $2-5 bucks, and the service is great. The location at Caffe Lieto offers limited seating but the other two locations, Belltown and Pioneer Square, offer more space to sit down. On my trip here my friend and I ordered the Smokin’ Hot Bitch with Vegetarian Sausage ($11), Bitchwitch  smothered in Sausage Gravy ($8.40) and a Nutty Bitch ($6.40).

The Smokin’ Hot Bitch was a Biscuit smothered in Vegetarian Shiitake Mushroom Gravy with Cheese and topped with Vegetarian Sausage & Jalapenos. The Biscuit was soft and fluffy (they offer limited gluten free ones if that’s your jam) but still filling. The Mushroom Gravy was rich and flavorful and the Jalapenos added a little bit of spice. The Bitchwich is a Biscuit Sandwich with Egg, Cheddar, and choice of Sausage, SPAM or Bacon. I chose to have mine with Bacon and smothered in a half side of Country Sausage gravy. Talk about all the feels. My only gripe is that I wish I would have gotten a full side of gravy because it was so good. I never eat Biscuit Sandwiches like a sandwich especially when gravy is involved. I more so eat it with a fork and knife and drag the biscuit through the gravy (nommm). All I can say is that if this is the entree you choose get more gravy than you think you need! The Nutty Bitch is a Biscuit, Nutella, Banana, Whipped Cream and freaking buckets of love. I always just get the Bitchwich or Biscuits and Gravy but I don’t normally get the sweeter options. But holy cow why the heck haven’t I been ordering this forever. I took a bite and shed a thug tear*. What I’m saying is you wont regret it if you get this Nutty Bitch!

All in all my visits to Biscuit Bitch have always been positive but finding this new item on the menu (new to me rather) I’ve decided this sorta touristy spot is still a must visit for locals alike. Just jump in line and get one of these “Bitches”! As always stay #ForkDeep.

*Thug tear (phrase)- when a person sheds a single tear due to overwhelming emotions which can either be happy or sad.
